1. Establish yourself as an expert in your field.
2. Get one-way links to your website which will help you with your search engine position.
3. Bring you traffic from people reading your article.
With all the talk about links and pagerank going around lately, number 3 on the list gets missed by most article authors. A lot of authors forget how this whole article thing became popular in the first place. People are on the internet to find information. And right or wrong, they expect to get it for free. They arent online looking for you or your latest business. Give them what they want. Give them an informative, well researched article about a topic they're interested in and they'll read every word of it.
If your article is good enough they may even click on the link in your resource box to read more from you. Everyone is in such a big hurry to pump out as many articles they can to boost their search engine ranking that they forget that they can actually get the best quality traffic from the article itself.
Who do you think is more likely to buy from you? Someone who found you on a search engine or someone who read your article and liked it so much that they actually took the time to click on your resource box link.
You provided the reader with something they needed. You gave them valuable information they needed on a topic important to them. What's more, you gave it to them for free. Talk about great pre-selling. This is going to be the best pre-qualified visitor you can get. Don't forget, you got the click for free too. This is better traffic then you can get from the big pay-per click search engines.
OK. You've written your well researched article with an enticing resource box. Now what. Are you going to just submit your article to the three biggest article directories or are you going to take the time to submit to the small directories too? A lot of people make the mistake of just submitting to the big directories and they entirely skip the hundreds of smaller directories out their. I think that's a big mistake. If you've got a really good article, you'll want to post it at as many places as you can.
Authors see a small or new article directory and don't want to bother with it. But all directories were new at one time. Even if it's small now, if it's got a clean layout and looks decent, go ahead and submit there. If the owner of the directory is a real go-getter, he or she may build that new directory into a high ranking, big traffic site in no time. Also, it's easier for your article to get noticed if it's 1 in 1,000 compared to 1 in 150,000.
You'll especially want to submit your article to niche article directories. These types of directories get more real readers. Someone interested in gardening might go to a popular garden site that offers free gardening articles. If you write articles about gardening, then this is a great place for you to submit to. Instead of hoping some big publisher will pick up your article, you'll actually get real readers seeing your article and clicking on your resource link. What better traffic could you hope for?
The big directories might get looked at by publishers more but you're after real readers too, not just publishers. How many times has a publisher with a really huge list grabbed your article and published it in their newsletter. If they have, then congratulations. If not, then you may be leaving money on the table by not catering more to real readers instead of just to publishers.
If your front page takes a long time to load into a browser, you may consider redesigning it to increase the number of visitors that decide to stay at your site.
Don't forget that not everyone has a cable modem, a T1, or DSL connection. The truth is that there are still a large number of surfers with modems of 56k.
There are certain things that you can do to speed up the loading time:
1.First consider taking out the embedded multimedia (background song, videos etc.) unless absolutely necessary. Yes, they might create a great effect, but if your visitors get impatient and leave, then the whole purpose is lost.
2.You can save loading time by using one or more of the images from the front page on your other pages (these will be on the browser's cache ans will load much faster).
3.If you have an image that loads slowly, you can put it on the page leading to it (at the bottom of the page) by simply adjusting the width and height to 1. For example:
This will make the image on the first page almost invisible, but it will save the image in the browser's cache.
4.Always use height and width tags on your images. This way the browser will know were everything is before the images are loaded. The users can start to read what is on your site before all images are loaded.
5.Reduce your images. Use Gif Cruncher or Jpeg optimizer.
If you don't need really sharp resolution, use GIFs since GIFs usually load faster than JPEGs.
6.If you are using tables, don't make very large ones, instead construct several smaller ones (you can always link them up if you want). This will help quite a bit. Also, don't put tables inside other tables if you can help it, because the browser will take longer to work out the spacing.
7.Remove "white space" (the spaces between your coding). You can do this manually to avoid confusion and to get the best results (there is a "HTML Page Squisher" program available, but this may cause problems with some browsers).
8.Last but not least, make sure your front page is as short as possible. A longer page will take a long time to load, even if it's all text. You can always use a link with extra info on another page.
Here's some practical advice on finding the right domain name...
Keep It Short
No matter what you choose make sure it is short and easily recognizable. This is the name people will find you and come to know you by. Preferably you want a one word name or a description name that will stick in peoples memory. Think of all the great sites you know. Google.com Yahoo.com Amazon.com MSN.com. Short, catchy names which are easy to remember.
Try to keep it below eight characters, if possible.
A Good Domain Name
Is easy to convey and easy to remember! The most basic (yet often overlooked) web traffic building campaign should include promoting your web address through every means you already have in place for reaching your prospects and customers, so it should be easily conveyed in any format, printed or otherwise (on your stationery, in your catalog, on your product packaging, in your voice mail messages, in your signature file at the end of your email messages, etc.).
Your website domain should be easy to remember for others to spread the word about. It should not be easily misspelled or confusing - Prospective visitors won't always have your web address spelled out in front of them. They may try to visit your site from memory. If they misspell or otherwise confuse your domain name, they won't be able to access your site. They might even end up accessing a competing domain!
Simplicity is very important. Otherwise you'll lose traffic.
Avoid Trademarked Names
The reason for this is clear. The companies who own the trademark will simply call their lawyers.
Keyword Domains or Branding?
Many of the most successful sites do not use keyword domains. These online businesses have chosen to go with a completely original domain, and brand it. A few examples are Google, Yahoo!, Amazon, eBay etc.
A keyword domain is a domain specifically chosen to take advantage of search engine traffic. Selecting a domain that matches a keyword search, the website should be able to rank higher for targeted keywords and therefore benefit from added traffic and more potential for sales.
For example, if you were a New York moving company, you might want to target the search phrase New York Moving Company by choosing the domain newyorkmovingcompany.com or new-york-moving-company.
If you have a large offline advertising budget and the budget necessary to brand your organization, a brandable domain is better choice. If, on the other hand, you're working on a shoe-string budget, choose a keyword domain and let the search engines bring the customers to you.
If you’re looking for an easy and low risk way to increase your landing page conversion rates, then use the conversion rate optimization strategies outlined in this online guide.
About Conversion Rate Optimization:
Conversion Rate Optimization is the continual process of making your Web Site and landing pages generate better results from your visitor traffic. For example, more leads, opt-ins, and more sales.
Conversion Rate Optimization is also the fastest and easiest strategy to increase your sales without spending more money on increasing your traffic.
In fact, the most successful companies test everything. For example, GoToMyPC.com increased their conversion rates by 400% by testing the following…
- Call to Action
- Button Look
- Button Text
- Button Location
- No Links
- Press Quotes
- Flow Through Process
- And more
Optimizing Your Landing Page’s "Conversion Funnel"
If you review your web site statistics (called “log files”) you’ll notice the following 4 things are happening on your landing pages…
The largest percentage of your visitors are bailing within 0-8 seconds after briefly viewing your landing page.
The second largest percentage of visitors bail when they decide your landing page does not prove compelling.
A small percentage of visitors attempt to convert (buy or use a contact form to become a lead) but fail. Many of these people will call.
A small percentage of visitors convert.
Conversion rate optimization is the process of optimizing your landing pages to minimize your "bail out rate" and maximize your "conversion rate" (CR).
The Top 6 Landing Page Components
To Optimize for Maximizing Your Conversions
The following are the top 6 conversion components that should be tested and improved to boost your conversion rates…
Headline - Since your headline is the first line that your visitors will read, the headline of your web page offers the biggest opportunity (about 80% of the opportunity) for improvements in conversion rate. Use headlines that clearly state the biggest benefit(s) that your product offers.
Offer - Since your offer is the “call to action” that asks your visitors to act (purchase, sign up, opt-in), your offer accounts for the second the biggest opportunity for improvements in conversion rate.
Lead - The “lead” or first paragraph is the third biggest opportunity for improvements in your conversion rate. Leads must be written with strong benefits that capture your visitor’s attention and make them want to read more.
Benefits - The “benefit bullets” (bullet-point format) are the forth biggest opportunity for improvements in conversion rate. List your benefits in the order of your product’s “value hierarchy” to your target market. In other words, state your product’s strongest benefit first, and its weakest benefit last.
Images - The images you use have a big impact on your conversion rates. The best practice is to use images that clearly portray the biggest benefit your product offers your customer (rather than generic "feel good" stuff like unknown logos and clip art). Studies show that product images work best when placed to the left of your product description (or lead paragraph) since it makes it easier to read your copy from left to right. Plus, people like to reads “captions” under your images almost as much as they read your headlines. So, add powerful captions and make your images clickable to the order/sign up page.
"Look & Feel" - According to a recent study by Stanford University, 46% of Web sales are lost on web sites that lack the critical elements that build value and trust with website visitors. The number one reason the people indicated why they wouldn't buy from a web site was because it had an unprofessional "look and feel" that lacked credibility and did not "feel" trustworthy. Having a professional look, and trust building tools (such as VeriSign and BBBOnline certifications) help convert significantly more of your web site's qualified visitors into new customers.
Other Important Conversion Elements to test:
- Buttons – Button text, color, look, etc.
- Formatting and placement of page elements, images and copy
- Navigation links versus no navigation links
- Press Quotes
Other Conversion Best Practices and Tips:
- Reduce your “bail out” rate by optimizing your web pages to download within 5 seconds on a 56k modem – Test your pages on Andy King’s "Web Page Analyzer" websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/
- Add a 1-800-Number and Call to Action above the fold (top of the page)
- Add a Logo and a powerful “Value Proposition” to the top left
- Instead of letting visitors click off your landing page, put all your information on one page (This tactic alone increased the conversions of a landing page by 55%)
- Use colors that fit your target customer’s personality
When you use “Conversion Rate Optimization” to test and improve your web pages and landing pages you can double your sales (possibly even quadruple) when you add up all the performance improvements. Of course it takes time and work but it's well worth the effort.
If you’re truly serious about maximizing your results, continuously test, track and improve the important elements of your web site, landing pages (and your marketing materials).
Because of this, links have become the lifeblood of the Internet. Major search engines like Google evaluate your incoming links to help determine your search engine positions.
However, a link is much more than just a ranking factor. A quality inbound link can bring your website a steady stream of targeted traffic and buyers.
In this article I will reveal the untapped methods of obtaining quality inbound links. We all know that reciprocal links are dead. Smart internet marketers also know about the power of article marketing and rss syndication. This article looks to explore beyond those techniques, unveiling linking tactics that are largely undiscovered.
Read on to find out about which links you can gain to build buzz, how to leverage the power of wikis, why everyone needs an affiliate program, and how to use the web 2.0 craze to garner hundreds of high quality inbound links.
We will begin our journey with editorial link opportunities.
The right links can generate massive buzz and word of mouth marketing. This type of marketing can occur from links like Yahoo Picks, Forbes Best of the Web, and USA Today Hot Sites. Get listed on the following sites and you've certainly got a winner.
Yahoo Picks of the Day/Week
Forbes Best of the Web
USA Today Web Guide/Hot Sites

Wikis are some of the best sources for link building. With a bit of digging, you can find plenty of wiki pages with high link popularity and PageRank. Not to mention, many wikis rank well in the search engines. This is especially true for Wikipedia.
However, like everything, there is a wrong and right way to go about it. Many people try to spam wikis with hundreds of links. Because of this, there have been strict measures taken to find and eliminate these culprits.
To benefit from the Wiki community, you must be an active participant adding quality and relevant information to their collection of content. You must add value to a page. Once you have done this, you can then incorporate your link if it's a good fit.
However, don't just add information to pages that present linking opportunities. You should also be contributing to the wiki just for the sake of adding great content to the database. When appropriate, add quality links to articles, even links you do not control. Using this strategy, it is much more likely that you will be able to benefit from the many wikis available online.
To find potential linking opportunities, simply go to Google and type in %22your keywords%22 inurl:wiki. This will help you to find sites that have wikis related to your keywords. For example, if you are looking for wikis related to search engine marketing, you would type in %22search engine marketing%22 inurl:wiki.
For a comprehensive list of wikis you can start contributing to , go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wikis.
Ok. Are you ready for the MacDaddy of all links? You may be surprised to hear that some of the best links on the Web can only be obtained from public shool library Web sites. Yes I know, it's hard to believe that an unattractive school website that lives out in the .us or .org jungle would be of value to you. But in fact, these are some of the most trustworthy links you could ever hope to obtain.
Library web sites are some of the most trusted sources on the Internet and Google knows it. So, if you have an extremely valuable site that would prove a valuable resource to people around the world, then you should certainly get in contact with a librarian to suggest your site as an addition to their list of resources.
Below is a list of library sites to get you started:
Virginia Pubic Library Websites
Ohio Public Library Web Sites
Affiliate programs are one of the best ways to obtain thousands of inbound links to your site. With the right software, you can use an affiliate program to super charge your search engine rankings.
Using an affiliate program, you can get hundreds and even thousands of other people to promote your products with no risk on your part. Your affiliates send visitors to your web site using banner ads, text links, articles, and email promotions. For every visitor who decides to buy, you pay your affiliate a percentage of the sale.
The beauty of this system is that it allows you to create extra revenue without spending any additional advertising dollars. You can use affiliate marketing to explode your online sales and catapult your search engine rankings with no risk to you.
However, you have to make sure you have the right software to do this. Some affilate tracking software doesn't lend any link popularity back to your site.
Go to Assoctrac.com to find out about some very powerful affiliate software.
As I wrote about in a previous article, press releases enable you to tap into multiple news sites across the Internet, including Google News, Yahoo News, and MSNBC Searchbot.
In addition to attracting thousands of targeted visitors to your site, press releases can also create thousands of quality inbound links.
However, to realize the full potential of your press release campaign, you must take time to optimize your press release properly. Press releases should be optimized in much the same way that search engine optimization specialists optimize ordinary web pages to achieve higher rankings. By optimizing your press releases for the search engines, you will receive much higher visibility.
For example, one press release from MarketingExperiments.com resulted in 2,200 visitors and 5 interview requests by journalists. This is the power of a highly optimized press release.
Some of the best places to distribute your press release online include:
Start your own press campaign to begin creating invaluable buzz, attracting targeted visitors, and gaining thousands of inbound links.
Social Search Engines
With the growth of Web 2.0, social bookmarking services have become extremely popular this past year. However, these search engines are much more than simply a tool for searching and saving your favorite websites. These social communities can also drive massive amounts of traffic to your site and build brand awareness.
Popular submissions can expect to receive an onslaught of traffic. In addition, popular sites also receive an abundance of link love. These social search engines influence bloggers, publishers and journalists. On average, a website that is Dugg receives an average of 500 to a thousand new inbound links within a short period of time.
If you have a very informative site, your traffic may increase permanently after being Dugg. The key to succeeding with social search engines is to be a true contributor to the community. You must have quality content if you want to submit any of your links. Otherwise, you are simply wasting your time.
In addition, don't just submit your own links. Share the love and submit other sites that you feel would provide a great resource to the community.
Some of the best online social communities include:
In today's generation of web 2.0, publishers have been given multiple outlets for their work. It's time that we start taking advantage of the changes occurring in the online publishing world.
Another publishing opportunity that is undergoing rapid growth online is podcasting. The Internet is changing. Broadband Internet connection is allowing millions of Internet users to start downloading podcasts on every imaginable topic, from search engine strategies to the adventures of parenting.
According to Forrester Research, podcasting will reach 12.3 million households by 2010. Unfortunately, many webmasters are not taking advantage of this amazing opportunity.
To begin marketing your own podcasts, submit them to the following directories:
Integrating these new distribution models can vastly increase your exposure online.
New Forms of Article Syndication
Article syndication has become quite popular among internet marketers. It has enabled writers and website owners to gain hundreds of quality inbound links simply by syndicating their articles to article directories, article groups, related websites, and newsletter publications.
However, web 2.0 has transformed the publishing platforms that are available today. Because of this, there are now many more outlets for your articles and your valuable resource box. Fortunately for you, many online marketers have not spotted these opportunities so I advise you to jump on them quickly.
One of the most exciting new publishing platforms is Squidoo.
Squidoo was created by a revolutionary online thinker named Seth Godin. At Squidoo, you can create your very own lens, which is simply your view on a particular topic. This is a single web page that can point to blogs, favorite links, RSS feeds, Flickr photos, Google maps, eBay auctions, Amazon books and other resources.
Best of all, these lenses are getting traffic, credibility, and even showing up in top Google results. You can use a lens to increase the number of authoritative inbound links to your site, position yourself as an industry expert, announce the latest news within your niche, or promote your podcasts.
I've seen lenses ranging from a pagerank of 3 to 5. Below are some great examples:
FxBootcamp : PR4
Cool Laptop Bags : PR5
To start your own lens, go to Squidoo.com.
The last linking opportunity in this series taps into one of the largest sites on the Internet.
Craigslist was founded in 1995 by Craig Newmark and serves billions of unique visitors each month. So, how can you use this to your benefit?
Classified ads can be very lucrative when used correctly. Since Craigslist is free, this is a great place to start with absolutely no risk.
Your presence within this massive site will increase your exposure and link popularity. Many of the ads also appear in Google and Yahoo. This is especially true for those who optimize their ad properly.
I would highly suggest that you incorporate CraigsList into your overall business plan. You can begin placing your own ads at CraigsList.
Now that you know about many of these untapped linking techniques, I urge you to begin your own campaign. Just remember, if you're not distributing quality content, you are simply wasting your time. The first step is to become an authoritative site. After that, you will find that links come quite naturally. In fact, many of them will come without ever asking for them.
What has worked in the past for successful webmasters is still working today, and will likely continue to work into the foreseeable future. There are 4 primary areas that a webmaster must focus on to be successful. These four areas are important regardless of the type of website you run or the product or service that you sell.
Conversions are critical. You can get a million visitors to your site, but that means nothing if none of them make a purchase at your site. Conversions are calculated as the percentage of people that make a purchase at your site, compared to the number of total visitors.
The higher your conversion rate, the less traffic that you need to your site. Many webmasters struggle with getting that all-important traffic to their site. So instead of exclusively chasing traffic, also work on increasing the amount of traffic that you can convert into sales. There are a number of ways that you can do this with your online business.
Many webmasters understand that having a compelling sales letter, or sales pitch, is crucial. If you do not have the best possible sales letter, then you are losing potential customers. If you do not feel comfortable writing your own sales letter, consider hiring a copywriter to do it for you. You could also ask the copywriter to develop a few sales letters for your business, and you can do a comparitive analysis to see which ones bring the best conversion results for your business.
You can also improve your conversion ratio by paying attention to the layout of your web pages. There are a lot of different opinions on the best layouts for selling your products or services. For me there are a couple of easy ways to determine web page layouts.
The first thing that I consider is what I like and dislike about other websites. Is it hard to find the product on the page? Is the price hidden? Is a description of the product easy to find? Is the ordering information easy to find?
The other factor that I look at is what successful webmasters before me have done with their layout. There is no need to reinvent the wheel here. Instead of spending weeks trying to develop my own perfect layout, I will start with a template similar to those that are known for making high conversions.
Linking For Traffic
Now that we have covered conversions, we can talk about linking for traffic. While your conversions may be very good, it will never be 100%. So what this means is that the more of that precious traffic you get (at whatever conversion rate you are getting) will result in more sales and more money. It is known that the more links you have to your website, the more traffic that you will get. The links to your site are critical in driving traffic.
First of all, people click those links. I value a link from a high traffic website as much or more than a link from a high PageRank site, because actual humans are likely to be clicking the link to my website. I also place a very high value on having articles published in ezines and newsletters, because it always results in a nice boost in my website's traffic. The amount of traffic that comes as a result of having an article published in an ezine or newsletter will of course vary depending on the number of subscribers on the list.
A certain percentage of readers will always click the links that I have in a webpage or an ezine. And, a certain percentage of those who visit my website will convert to sales. Having my link appear in some ezines or newsletters can literally translate to thousands or tens of thousands of visitors to my website in a single day!
If you utilize article distributions, you can often get your articles published on a variety of websites and ezines. These articles will have your link in the author box, and you will also have the opportunity to discuss your web site and the products or services that you offer in your author box. This being said, the more effort you put into writing a good article and author box, the more likely you are to get some traffic as a result.
Building links for search engine placement purposes is just as important as linking for traffic. The more relevant back links that you have coming into your site, the higher your website will rank in the major search engines for your keywords. Back links are one of the best ways that you can get your online business to rank near the top of the search engines for your niche.
Be sure to use an anchor text on those links that is the same or similar to the keywords that you are targeting. Also, try to get those back links from relevant sites as much as possible. By this, I mean try to get those links from sites and webpages that have something in common with your site. A link from a webpage about bird watching will have little in common with your website about automobiles.
To illustrate the importance of back links, look at Digg.com (http://www.google.com/search?q=link%3ahttp%3a%2f%2fdigg%2ecom). They have a whopping 131,000 back links, which is why they are one of the most popular social book marking sites on the Internet.
Link baiting is a great way to get those important back links, both for traffic and for link popularity. But, what is link baiting? It is when you have something so interesting / amusing / informative / useful that people will want to link to you, without you asking them to do so. Having something on your site that people will blog about, tell their friends about, or to send emails to their contacts about, is what constitutes link baiting. Your bait is so powerful that the fish will basically jump into the boat, without you ever needing to ask!
What kind of things work as link bait? This will depend a lot on the audience that you are trying to reach. In the SEO world, good link bait is placing free webmaster tools on your site. This means that people will bookmark the site; refer to it on forums, and possibly blog about what they learned by using your free webmaster tools.
If you are able to grow a reputation among your niche market as an expert, people will cite you and your website because of the quality information that you offer. If you run a humor site, people will forward the URL to their friends and tell them to check out a certain page.
Link baiting is also why the social book marking is exploding in popularity. If you have an article that gets onto the front page of Digg.com via link baiting, you will have an explosion in traffic. The same can be said for all of the major social bookmarking sites.
Link baiting is all about offering something unique that people will want to tell their friends about and that they will want to talk about. Spend some serious time thinking about what you can offer to your customer base that will result in successful link baiting for your website.
If you spend your time focusing on these 4 ways to make money with your online business, you are sure to be well ahead of most of your competitors. Optimize your site for conversions, build links for traffic, create links for popularity, and dangle some link bait for others to share, and you will find your customer base beginning to grow, and you will see your sales will start to improve.

techniques, it`s important to master the BASIC STRATEGIES
FOR INTEGRATING EMAIL into your overall campaign.
As I`ve just shown you, sending out an EMAIL CAN BE MUCH
CHEAPER than other marketing methods. Proceed with caution,
however. Email can also cost you a fortune -- in lost
opportunities AND cold hard cash -- IF you don`t know the
So that`s where we`re going to start.
First, always keep in mind that your "primary objective".
the master key that unlocks your "Success Vault" in Internet
Marketing is to build your mailing list - your EMAIL MAILING
LIST. (Often referred to as your "In-house list.")
The addresses you collect are going to mean the difference
between the middle-of-the-road results that Average Joe and
Jane are achieving and the through-the-roof, over-the-top,
to-the-moon-and-back MEGA-success that top online sellers
achieve. (The difference really is that dramatic.) So
don`t miss the boat: The time is NOW to start building your
list of email addresses (prospects).
You can begin to grow your list simply by capturing emails
from people who visit your website, as we have already
discussed in a previous lesson.
=> Pop Quiz: What`s the easiest way to convince people to
give you their email address? (Answer: Offer an
irresistible freebie with a sign-up form on your site or in
a pop-up box, drive traffic to your site, and watch as
people start entering their email address. Don`t have a
freebie? Get a good one from the Empowerism treasure
Okay, so now you`re "in the groove". you`re capturing
people`s emails like crazy. But if you`re just sitting
there - well, you know the old saying, "Even if you`re on
the right track, you`ll get run over if you just sit there."
So what next?
-- Let me take a moment from telling how to build your email
list to remind you why. It`s been said that - YOU CAN GET
RICH WITH AN EMAIL LIST OF JUST 1000 PEOPLE!
Think about that. Then stop thinking and get going on
new ways to capture and keep email addresses.
(By the way, if you haven`t already "gotten with the
program" yet, I wanted to remind you that EMPOWERISM RSVP
presents an unparalleled opportunity for you to build a
mountain of wealth with a leads-buying program that rewards
you quickly and generously).
GIVE `TIL IT HURTS!
If you want to keep getting addresses, start giving stuff
away! Give, give, and keep finding more things to give! And
since you can`t send a TOASTER through email, why not give
the far more valuable -- and far more affordable for you --
INFORMATION PRODUCTS, business tools, and expert
advice - maybe even a no-cost/obligation email marketing
course like this one!
DRIP, DRIP, DRIP.
You`ll want to have a series of letters already set up so
that they can be "dripped" on your prospects on a regular
basis. Send a message daily, every other day, or on
whatever schedule suits you best, but make contact AT LEAST
EVERY 7 DAYS.
If you`re not confident in your writing skills, you have two
choices: you can hire a professional to write the letters
for you or you can use a system already set up with letters
to help you build your email list. (I suppose the third
choice is to just give up and bury your heard in the sand,
but that`s no way to make a million!)
If you`re serious about this - and you should be, believe
me -- you really should consider tapping into the system
offered by Empowerism. At Empowerism, you can access an
entire AUTOMATED leads/giveaway/database marketing
ALL-IN-ONE SYSTEM that makes it easy for your revenues to
chance to make a good first impression. And in email, the
first impression is always visual -- a consumer LOOKS/SEES
before he/she READS.
Imagine walking by a grotesquely garish storefront with all
kinds of things hanging off the front porch, every floor
painted a different color, and odd music playing through
loudspeakers. Would you want to walk in the front door? No
way! You`d assume that the owner is a kook, at best, or a
deranged axe murderer, at worst.
Did you ever have an ugly looking email land in your
mailbox? You know what I`m talking about: an orange
background and yellow borders, multi-colored text in all
sizes from gigantic to microscopic, a message that looks like
it was created by a crazed six-year-old? If you did, I bet
you didn`t feel the urge to read it. You probably just
wanted to delete it as quickly as possible.
=> PUT OUT THE WELCOME MAT
You want your email message to be friendly and inviting, not
bizarre and scary. The suggestions below -- and they`re
just suggestions, not hard and fast rules -- will go a long
way towards making recipients` eyes say "come on in!" to

recognize the font you`ve selected, they could see gibberish
instead of your brilliant message).
-DO use the email marketers` FAVORITE FONTS: Arial, Times
New Roman, and Courier New
-DON`T use flashing buttons or banners in your email! (Your
prospects have undoubtedly gotten their fill of "bells and
whistles" when they`ve surfed the Internet. They don`t need
more from you.)
=> GET HYPER" WITH EMAIL HYPERLINKS
An "email hyperlink" is just techno-talk for a link in your
email to a website, or email address. Sounds simple enough,
and it is -- unless you try to contact a prospect on AOL who
may not be able to receive "clickable" links.
Don`t worry. There`s a "fix" for this: simply type mailto:
in front of your email address (no space in between, and
include the : )
For a link to a web page, you need to write your link this
(And tell your recipient they can copy and paste this
link into their browser if it`s not highlighted.)
=> ALWAYS USE SIGNATURE TAGS
Today, it`s common practice on the Internet to tell people
about your product or service with a SIGNATURE TAG, which is
3-6 lines of text (usually) that is automatically added to
every message you send.
If you`d like to add a tag to your messages, simply open
your email program. Find the SIGNATURES TAB (located in the
TOOLS/OPTIONS menu in Outlook Express). Follow the (simple)
instructions for creating a sig file. Easy as pie...and the
results will amaze you.
That`s it for now, but get your "net" ready. Next lesson
we`re going to hunt down and CAPTURE EMAILS.
You have to give in order to get. If you want people tooffer up their email address, you`re going to have to offerup an incentive. Nothing works better than something that`scomplimentary (you spell that F-R-E-E). You can give awayno-cost reports, books, software, or even sample pages of abook.
-Word to the Wise: Our Empowerism subscribers usecomplimentary subscriptions to our "Excellence Magazine" andebook giveaways to grow their lists. Works like a charm.
Wise Way #2 - USE POP-UPS
Pop-ups are one of the most common methods you can use tocapture email addresses and build your email listquickly and with ease. Simply construct a web pagecontaining code for a form and set the page to open (pop up)when visitors ENTER OR EXIT your site.
Make sure the pop-up offer is something that`s valuableenough to motivate visitors to take time to give you theircontact information. Your offer can be a complimentaryreport, download, or ebook that arrives instantly throughyour autoresponder to their email inbox when they give youtheir email.
-Word to the Wise: If you need a pop-up, you can pick oneup F-R-E-E (there`s that word again) from Empowerism
-Son of Word to the Wise: "Instant" is a very powerfulpop-up offer.
Wise Way #3 - USE POSTCARDS
If you have a mailing list that contains snail mail (street)addresses, convert it into an email list by sending out apostcard and inviting people to VISIT YOUR WEBSITE toreceive a gift of some kind -- a report, a discount coupon, etc. Visitors don`t have to pay in order to receive theirgifts, they simply need to enter an email address.
-A Word to the Wise from the U.S. Post Office: Postage ismuch less expensive for a postcard than a standard-sizeletter. (Not only are they economical, postcards are morelikely to get your message across since the consumer doesn`thave to open an envelope.)
Wise Way #4 - SUBSCRIBER BOX ON EVERY PAGE
This is a clever trick that so many people overlook. Put aRESPONSE FORM ON EVERY PAGE of your website offering anewsletter or other freebie. This will increase the numberof email addresses you capture exponentially.
Why? When search engines index the pages of your website, avisitor may come directly to a page other than your homepage. If you only have a subscriber box on your home page, you`re missing the boat, not to mention the thousands ofvisitors who bypass your homepage.
-A Word to the Wise: If you don`t know how to create anopt-in form, no worries. Empowerism has a foolproof `buildyour own` tool made just for you!
Wise Way #5 - CONTESTS
Contests very often prove to be a good way to generatetraffic and buzz for your business. Create a contest and puta form on your site or in a pop-up box. The entry "fee" istheir email address.
-Word to the Wise: Not all the people who sign up for yourcontest are good prospects. Many are just contest"junkies" -- people who are only looking for freebies andhave no intention of buying a product or service.
-Warning to the Wise: If your prizes are cash orlarge-ticket items, you should be sure to check with localagencies to make sure you`re not violating any contest laws.
Wise Way #6 - DISPLAY YOUR AUTORESPONDER ADDRESS
Most people give their website link when they place soloads, ezine ads, or other marketing messages. To be one stepahead of the game in collecting email addresses, LIST YOURAUTORESPONDER ADDRESS instead of your URL. This way you cancapture email address and funnel them into your follow-upsales letters.
-Word to the Wise: Don`t have an autoresponder? Empowerismwill give you one, provide you with signposts to others, andmake sure you know exactly what to look for to find the"pick of the litter."
-Word from our "Sponsor": Autoresponders you can use arejust one sample of the incredible resources you can dependon when you`re a member of the Empowerism family. Ourtools, information, and especially the Empowerism RSVP --Revenue Sharing Value Program -- are all designed togenerate BIG bucks with LITTLE effort.
Wise Way #7 - JUST ASK
If you`re chatting with a prospect on the phone or apotential customer stops by your place of business, don`t beshy: ask for an email address or business card (whichusually includes their email address).
Okay, you know what you want...you know what you need. It`stime for you to set your traps and CAPTURE THOSE EMAILS!

The text ads will appear when a user searches using Google from a mobile device; the ads will contain two lines of text, with 12 to 18 characters per line. Marketers must purchase the ads through the standard AdWords interface, and also must have either a mobile Web site for pay-per-click ads, or a toll-free phone number for pay-per-call ads.
David Berkowitz, director of strategic planning for search engine marketing firm 360i, said Google's entry could make the world of mobile advertising more accessible to smaller advertisers. "Right now, there's only so much mobile search buying going on, but Google's done a great job integrating this into their overall AdWords system," he said. "There's a lot of mobile advertising companies, it's a really chaotic, confusing space, so for a lot of marketers, this could be a relief for them."
Tom Burgess, CEO of mobile marketing firm Third Screen Media, added that Google's initiatives in the mobile marketing space lend the medium credibility. "To see a company that's so well regarded as Google pay homage to the opportunity of mobile advertising is a great thing," he said. "They've got a lot of marketers that buy from them. Now that they've got a mobile solution, those marketers are going to be further exposed to mobile."
The goal of trading links is to get quality links for quality links. True quality links will carry benefits far beyond that of attaining a coveted position in the search engine results. The links will bring traffic from the Web page linking to your Web page. Therefore, you want to ensure you trade or barter links from quality partners.
Sometimes it's hard to determine who is a quality linking partner, even for the expert. So, how can you tell if your link is on a Web page where its value will not be very good?
The short list below highlights ways of diminishing or nullifying the value of a link to your site from another Web page.
Meta Tag Masking - this old trick simply used CGI codes to hide the Meta tags from browsers while allowing search engines to actually see the Meta tags.
Robots Meta Instructions - using noindex and nofollow attributes let's the novice link partner see the visible page with their link while telling the search engines to ignore the page and the links found on the page. Nofollow can be used while allowing the page to be indexed which gives the impression that the search engines will eventually count the link.
Rel=nofollow Attributes - this is not a real attribute based upon HTML standards, but rather it is an attribute approved by the search engines to help identify which links should not be followed. This attribute is often used with blogs to prevent comment and link spam. The link will appear on the Web page and in the search engine's cache, but never be counted.
Dynamic Listing - dynamic listing is a result of having links appear randomly across a series of pages. Each time the link is found on a new page, the search engines count consider the freshness of the link. It is extremely possible that the link won't be on the same page upon the next search engine visitation. So, the link from a partner displaying rotating, dynamic link listings rarely helps.
Floating List - this can be easily missed when checking link partners. Essentially, your link could be number one today, but as new link partners are added your link is moved down the list. This is harmful because the values of the links near the bottom of the list are considered to be of lesser value than the links at the top. With the floating list, it is possible to have your link moved to a new page whose PR value is significantly less or not existent and the new page may not be visited and indexed for months.
Old Cache - the caching date provided by Google indicates the last time the page was cached. Pages with lower PR values tend to be visited and cached less often than pages that have medium to high PR values. If the cache is more than six months old, it can be surmised that Google has little or no desire to revisit the page.
Denver Pages - while Denver, CO is a nice place to visit, Denver Pages are not a place you want to find your link in a trade. Denver Pages typically have a large amount of links grouped into categories on the same page. Some people call this the mile high list. These types of pages do not have any true value in the search engines and are not topically matched to your site.
Muddy Water Pages - these are dangerous and easy to spot. Your link will be piled in with non-topically matched links with no sense of order. It's like someone took all the links and thrown them in the air to see where they land. These are worse than the Denver Pages.
Cloaking - cloaking is the process of providing a page to people while providing a different page to search engines. You could be seeing your link on the Web page, but the search engines could possibly never see the link because they are provided with a different copy. Checking Google's cache is the only way to catch this ploy.
Dancing Robots - this can be easily performed with server-side scripting like PHP and is rarely easy to catch. In this situation people that attempt to view the robots.txt file receive a copy of the robots.txt file that does not include exclusion instructions for the search engines. However, when the search engines request the robots.txt file they receive the exclusion instructions. With this situation the links pages will never be linked and you'll never know why without expert assistance.
Meta Tags and Robots.txt Confusion - which instructions have the most weight? Don't know the answer? Shame. Search engines do. If they conflict the page Meta tags are typically considered the rule to follow.
Link the Head - while these links do not count in the search engines and do not show up on the Web page, they do get counted by scripts or programs designed to verify the links exist. These programs only look for the URL within the source codes for the Web page.
Empty Anchors - this is a nasty trick, but can be an honest mistake. The links exist and are counted by the search engines, but unfortunately are neither visible nor clickable on the Web page. So, there are no traffic values from the link.
The goal of trading links is to trade them for equal value. Understanding the ways people will attempt to prevent passing a quality value from their Web page to your Web page can help you avoid these useless links. If your link partner pulls under-handed tricks the links they trade you are useless.
While you may never be an expert in knowing all the latest tricks, traps and tests, you can now become an expert in knowing the thirteen mentioned above. Ensuring your link partners are not following or using these tactics can help improve the quality of links you gain from other Web pages. By having quality links pointing to your Web page will you gain additional traffic through organic search engine results and visitors driven directly from your linking partners.

If webmasters want to monetize their websites, the great way to do it is through Adsense. There are lots of webmasters struggling hard to earn some good money a day through their sites. But then some of the “geniuses” of them are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from Adsense ads on their websites. What makes these webmasters different from the other kind is that they are different and they think out of the box.
The ones who have been there and done it have quite some useful tips to help those who would want to venture into this field. Some of these tips have boosted quite a lot of earnings in the past and is continuously doing so.
Here are some 5 proven ways on how best to improve your Adsense earnings.
1. Concentrating on one format of Adsense ad.
The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format have the tendency to result in higher CTR, or the click-through rates. Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.
2. Create a custom palette for your ads.
Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colors is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. Again, This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.
3. Remove the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top.
Do not try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between Adsense locations can make when you see your earnings.
4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try to maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor will see your ads first upon browsing into that site.
5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included).
Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code in a text file, save it as “adsense text”, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then using SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.
These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites. It is important to know though that ads are displayed because it fits the interest of the people viewing them. So focusing on a specific topic should be your primary purpose because the displays will be especially targeted on a topic that persons will be viewing already.
Note also that there are many other Adsense sharing the same topic as you. It is best to think of making a good ad that will be somewhat different and unique than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you so make every click count by making your Adsense something that people will definitely click on.
Tips given by those who have boosted their earnings are just guidelines they want to share with others. If they have somehow worked wonders to some, maybe it can work wonders for you too. Try them out into your ads and see the result it will bring.
If others have done it, there is nothing wrong trying it out for yourself.
Is there really any information about Adsense that is nonessential? We all see things from different angles, so something relatively insignificant to one may be crucial to another.

The internet generates hundreds of thousands upon hundred of thousands of free web site traffic everyday. Most of them are searching for something. While some are just looking for information there is also a good percentage that is looking for something that they need.
The internet has proven to be a very reliable source in finding what was deemed to be a very unsearchable product. The internet has made the world a smaller place; you can advertise a product from the depths of Istanbul and still find a buyer from the center of Philadelphia.
Generating web site traffic is not an easy task. You have to contend with a great number of sites to generate a good number of free web site traffic flow. But if done successfully this could open up a Pandora’s Box of possibilities. One of the benefits is monetizing your increased web site traffic flow.
So, to get to the core of it the more web site traffic you generate the more likely you are considered as a desirable, desirable, in a sense that a good traffic flowing site is easily convertible to profit. Basically more web site traffic equals more profit. Advertising is the name of the game; with the good advertising scheme you can use your increased web site traffic flow to your advantage.

This scheme is called “pay-per-click”. With every click a visitor of your site makes on an advertised link you will be paid. The more web site traffic you generate and the more clicks that happens would spell to more profits.
Another method of monetizing your web site traffic are affiliate programs. You can link up with other tried and tested sites and online companies and monetize your increased web site traffic by having a percentage of sales generated by more web site traffic coming from your site.
The basic idea is, targeted web site traffic generated from your site will go to another site that can offer a product that you do not carry. Many programs can keep track and make records of transactions that was made possible because of site linkage.
When purchases are made by customers that was led by your site to their site you get a percentage of that sale. Affiliate programs would give you the benefit of monetizing your web site traffic without the actual need of carrying or promoting a certain product.

The internet is a veritable source of information, many tips and guides are offered everywhere in how to monetize your web site traffic and make your site a good profit earner.
Hopefully the sections above have contributed to your understanding of Web Site traffic. Share your new understanding about Web Site traffic with others. They'll thank you for it.
There are hundreds of search engines to choose from. For-hire site registration services typically say they submit to more than 100 engines. But there's little value in being on an index no one uses, which is why e-tailers should focus on a handful of high-traffic engines. According to Piper Jaffray Inc., the leading search destinations are Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and AOL. Together they have more than 80 percent of the market share.
What will lure visitors to a site? Although heavily funded internet companies can make seven- and eight-figure deals to buy prime advertising real estate on the major internet portals and online services like Yahoo! and AOL, you're likely priced out of that race. So winning visitors becomes a matter of creative, persistent marketing. And the good news is that it's still the little things that will bring plenty of traffic your way.
There are fundamental steps that too many businesses neglect. For instance? "You should always put your URL and a reason to visit your Web site on your business cards", says Larry Chase, publisher of Web Digest for Marketers, a weekly e-mail newsletter that delivers short reviews of marketing-oriented sites. "I call this cyberbait. For example, you should mention what people will get when they visit the site, such as a newsletter or a list of 'Top 10 Tips'. That substantially increases visitors and eventually customers or subscribers."
An e-mail signature is an especially powerful--and absolutely free--tool. Create a signature with a link to your web site in it and have it automatically attached to every one of your outgoing e-mails. If your e-mail recipients click on the link, they'll be taken to your site. It only takes a few seconds to create an e-mail signature, and it'll bring in visitors to your site every day.
Another low-cost traffic builder: "Get active in online discussion groups and chats, and, where appropriate, give out your URL," says Shannon Kinnard, author of Marketing With E-Mail. Sell bird toys? Scout out the many groups that focus on birds and get active. A good place to find groups is at Google Groupswhich archives discussion lists. Getting active in these groups spreads the word about you and your site. That spreads the word about you and your site, and "you'll get traffic coming to you," says Kinnard.
Another big-time traffic builder for any Web site that retails is posting items for sale on the major auction sites, such as eBay, Yahoo! and Amazon. Those sites let you identify yourself to viewers, and a few dollars spent on putting out merchandise to bid just may bring in lots of traffic from surfers seeking more information. Many small e-tailers tell me their entire advertising budget consists of less than $100 monthly spent on eBay, but they nonetheless are seeing traffic counts above 500 daily, with most of those viewers coming via eBay. My advice: Put up a few items for bid on each of the leading auction sites and then track traffic. Even if you sell the auctioned goods at no profit, the traffic jams your site may experience could well justify your efforts.
Classified ads offer more possibilities for traffic generation on the cheap. Check out Yahoo!, for example. Classified ads there are low-cost and vary depending on what you're selling. Listing is simple--just follow the steps at the site--and, again, you can insert your URL so readers who want more information can get it with a click. For my money, classified ads--at least the freebies--represent one of the very top ways to generate no-cost traffic, yet many businesses ignore them. Why? The complaint is that such sites have too many listings--hundreds of thousands--but don't let that stop you. Put up some ads, and watch your hit count climb.
Spam-Free E-Mail Marketing
For many businesses, direct mail--good old e-mail--may be the surest and certainly the cheapest tool for building traffic. "E-mail still gets results," says Hans Peter Brondmo, senior vice president of strategy and corporate development at Digital Impact, a San Mateo, California-based direct marketing solutions provider for companies such as Dell Computer Corp., Citibank, and MasterCard. Who reads spam? Nobody, says Brondmo, but well-constructed e-mail is "informative and personal, and people will look forward to getting it and reading it."
A key to making e-mail effective: Use "opt-in" sign-ups, where Web site visitors are asked to indicate if they want to receive e-mail from you. How to get sign-ups? "Offer a free monthly newsletter," says e-mail expert Shannon Kinnard. "The key is to give really good information."

More and more webmasters have the recurring dilemma on how to increase the flow of web site traffic in their websites. During the past few years many methods that been developed to solve this predicament. While most of them would work there are those that would not make even a small impact.
One of the methods that have spawned many success stories in driving targeted web site traffic into websites is viral marketing. Viral marketing makes use of the tendency of a person to share something to find informative, entertaining or amazing.
Many companies bank on this behavior to spread their products and increase the popularity of their company or their website. Viral marketing makes use of many mediums in enticing this behavior. It might be in the form of an interesting story, an addicting flash game, an amusing video and many others that may catch a person’s fancy.
This ingenious form of marketing is typically low cost and is a wonderful tool for any company to utilize. The benefit greatly overshadows the cost or efforts to initialize this marketing scheme. Any website would greatly benefit that viral marketing.
Tell A Friend Script
One of the easiest methods in viral marketing is using a tell a friend script. This is a simple programming script that you can attach to the programming of your website. Generally, tell a friends script are installed in pages where a media is placed so that a person can easily send the media to any of his friends or his family members.
The basic concept of a tell a friend script is a script wherein a person may input his name, e-mail address, the recipient’s e-mail address and send the media to the intended recipient much like an e-mail with an attachment. As the recipient receives the e-mail he wouldn’t think of the mail a spam mail because he would see the sender’s name as someone he or she knows and trust.
Tell a friend script eliminates greatly the chances of being blocked because they use the information inputted by the sender. This allows for wider spreading of this marketing method. It can be quite sneaky but it is very effective.
With the e-mail sent and opened the sent media will either be read, viewed or played. Also along with the mail would be a brief description of the company or site that sponsors the media sent. This allows for the introduction of either the site, company name or its products. The along with it is another tell a friend script.
Then the process begins again. As more people use the tell a friend script, more and more people will know of the existence of the sponsoring company or site. People who read the ads inside the mail who liked what they see would go and click on the link and visit the site. This drives traffic into the site resulting to great number of potential customers.
Tell A Friend Script Availability
A tell a friend script is very simple and does not require a complicated method of programming. In fact, you can copy paste a script and simply put it on an intended page. Finding one is even simpler. All you have to do is go to a search engine and type in the search box “tell a friend script” then press enter or click go.
In the search results page you will see many links that will direct you to a site where you can get a tell a friend script. It would just be a simple matter of looking and searching for the script and copying it to your intended web page.
With a tell a friend script viral marketing strategy you can drive targeted web site traffic into your site which could potentially spell profits. This is a simple harmless script that offers great benefits for low cost paired with great creativity and foresight.
It is imperative that you have patience in using a tell a friend script. If your chosen media doesn’t get the mileage that is expected of it, it may take some time before it gets spread or shared. But surely many people will see your ads and there is great probability that they will visit your site increasing your traffic flow.
This article's coverage of the information is as complete as it can be today. But you should always leave open the possibility that future research could uncover new facts.
Targeted Web Site Traffic
Every serious website operator wants to know how to create and maintain the best possible website that makes them the most money and builds the largest subscriber base!
The following "commandments" represent the ideals towards which every new or existing website should strive.
1. Thou shalt have a Purpose
Clearly define the site's purpose and ensure all content (pages, graphics and text) tightly focus on that purpose. Discard all extraneous material... only give people exactly what they came for!
2. Thou shalt be Lightweight
Use only small, fast loading graphics. If you must use large graphics use thumbnails and image slicing to diminish the size of every file to less than 12-15kb. Use standard optimized gif's and jpg's and avoid anything that requires the user to download a "plug-in" to view your content.
3. Thou shalt Load Fast
Each and every page on your site should weigh in under 30-60KB total, including graphics and navigation.
If your pages must be larger, such as the case with long, 1-page sales letters, make sure the top part of the page loads fast so surfers can read your headline and introduction while the rest of your sales letter loads further down and out of site.
4. Thou shalt not use False Code
5. Thou shalt respect the Search Engines
If you want search engine traffic, use whole web pages that don't incorporate frames. Search engines get confused trying to read content from most frames pages because the designers don't set them up with the proper information in the correct frame.
6. Love thy Surfers and Visitors
Design for "last year's" technology so surfers using 56K modems can download and use the site quickly and easily. If you design only for people with high-speed Internet connections (DSL and cable) you have eliminated 85%+ of your potential market.
7. Thou shalt not Annoy
Use only stationary text and graphical layout elements. No Scrolling text, marquees, or animations of any kind, including rollover buttons.
This "eye candy" steals valuable bandwidth and adds little to a site's main purpose, especially for returning visitors who just want information, not a carnival sideshow.
8. Thou shalt Not Scroll Left or Right
Design your pages so they never force a visitor to scroll left or right, no matter what the resolution settings on their monitor. Sites that read "best viewed at 800 x 600" really say "look at it my way because I don't care about your preferences or limitations."
9. Thou shalt stay Consistent
Include a standard navigational structure on every page. Though it may mean a serious challenge for the designer, users should only need to click once to find every major section of a site.
Also, this includes using standard link colors in all text links. Blue: hyperlink; Purple: visited hyperlink; Red: active hyperlink.
10. Thou shalt Know Thy Traffic
Use a site-wide statistics program that enables you to determine what brings someone to the site, where they go once they arrive, and when and where they leave.
This critical information helps with marketing efforts as well as identifying parts of the site that need tweaking or adjustment to help you increase sales. If everybody bails from your site at the same page, knowing this can help you change the page so people go from "bail mode" to "buy mode"!
While there are ways to jumpstart your web site traffic flows, many sites don’t have the resources that others have to generate more web site traffic for your site. Well, you don’t have to spend a cent; all you need is the proper mindset and a lot of eagerness. You also must have the drive and perseverance to do hard work and research to generate more free web site traffic for your site.
How sweet it is to have more web site traffic for your site without spending a single cent. Now it’s a sure thing that many sites have articles that offer tips and guidelines in how to generate free web site traffic. Because it is possible, you don’t need to speed a single cent, it may take time, to say honestly, I’m not going to beat around the bush with you. You get better chances by paying for your advertisements, but at least you get a fighting chance with some of these free methods I’m about to tell you.
Take advantage of online forums and online communities. The great thing about forums and online communities is that you can target a certain group that fits the certain demographic that you are looking for. You can discuss about lots of things about the niche that you represent or offer. Another great advantage is that you know what you are getting into and you will be prepared.
With online communities and forums you can build a reputation for your company. Show them what you are made of and wow them with your range of expertise about the subject, with that you can build a reputation and build trust with the people in your expertise and knowledge.
You can also make use of newsletters. Provide people with a catalog of your products and interesting and entertaining articles. If you make it really interesting and entertaining, more people will sign up for your newsletter and recommend it to other people.
